Cool Cars, Good Coffee.

Cars and Coffee in SC was great! It was my first car meet, but definitely not my last. It was a rainy morning, so that hindered the turnout, but non the less, it was still a great time.
There were lots of cool cars, both old and new. We showed up in an Audi e-tron GT and a Cadillac CTS-V Wagon (IYKYK). I should have taken photos, but I just wanted to enjoy the cars, coffee, and family.

There were some great cars there. Of course, you had your Ferraris, Lamborghinis, and Porches. Still, the ones that stood out to me were the Lotus Elise, the Ford Cobra, and the elusive Lucid Air.
The Lotus Elise, of course, was the basis of the original Tesla Roadster, which is why it piqued my interest, as I had never seen one. One of which is curranty floating in outer space. Elon Musk’s personal Tesla Roadster was launched into space on February 6th, 2018. It was SpaceX’s first test of their Falcon Heavy Rocket.

This roadster was the stepping stone to Tesla’s current S3XY lineup. Model; S, 3, X, and Y. “E” was taken when Ford launched the “Mustang” Mach-E. The funny thing is that Elon later stated that so many parts had to be changed and created that using the Lotus Elise was pointless.

Speaking of electric vehicles, I saw a Lucid Air for the first time with my own eyes. It was interesting; however, something other than what I would want to own. Although it is luxurious and fast, there are more reliable options. Honestly, it isn’t that great looking, either.

Shifting gears to good old naturally asperated, gas-powered vehicles, there were many. Some of the coolest were the Ford Cobras and the GT. That was awesome. I loved Ford vs. Ferrari, so seeing one in real life was great. I’m not a big car guy, so I’ll stop there. They are fantastic, and there are some really cool ones that I would love to own someday, but I’m not too knowledgeable on the subject yet.

That is not bad for a rainy morning in South Carolina.
